STEM Inspiration Days Event Held In Çankırı

An Event for Young People was Organısed ın Çankırı wıthın the Scope of Women ın STEM Project

Within the scope of the Women in STEM project, an event for young people was successfully organised in Çankırı. The event was full of sessions and trainings aimed at raising awareness in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields and guiding young people to these fields.

What was done in the event?

• Introduction of STEM Fields: At the beginning of the event, STEM fields were introduced. The importance of a career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics and the role of these fields in the future were explained in detail by expert speakers.
  
• Experience Sharing: Successful professionals in STEM fields shared their career stories and experiences with the participants. This session, which focused on challenges and successes, was inspiring and motivating for young people.
  
• Opportunities Abroad: Another important part of the event focused on education and career opportunities abroad. Young people were informed about scholarship, internship and exchange programmes in Europe. How to apply for these opportunities and what to do in the process were explained.
  
• Youthpass Training: Young people were trained on the importance of participation in international projects and Youthpass, which certifies this participation. By explaining how this certificate can be used in career development, young people were encouraged to be active in international projects.
  

Results of the Event

This event in Çankırı provided both an informative and inspiring platform for young people interested in STEM fields.
